There is a Hollywood most people never see. Behind the famous signs and bright lights, hundreds of children grow up in neighborhoods surrounded by gangs, poverty, and few safe places to go. Hollywood PAL has been their safe place for three decades free of charge, year-round, in partnership with the LAPD.



This year, a critical source of federal funding has ended. Donations and sponsorships have not kept pace with the growing cost of providing free programs. Every dollar raised helps keep our programs operating, and our doors open, and participation free for local youth



Hollywood PAL provides free, year-round sports, academic support, mentoring and enrichment programs for more than 850 young people. Your donation helps cover trained staff and coaches, safe program spaces, equipment, supplies, meals, field trips, technology and other essentials that keep our programs accessible to families.

Every donation helps keep Hollywood PAL programs free and accessible for local youth.



• $25 – Provides healthy snacks, program supplies, or transportation help for a participant.
• $50 – Helps purchase sports equipment, educational materials, or enrichment supplies.
• $100 – Supports a young participant in mentoring, tutoring, sports, or leadership programs.
• $250 – Helps fund coaching, instructors, field trips, and operations that keep youth engaged year-round.
• $500 – Provides meaningful support for an entire program or helps meet urgent needs where funding is needed most.
• Other Amount – Every gift, regardless of size, helps ensure Hollywood youth have safe places to learn, play, and thrive.
